Edit a thread

Noticed a typo in a thread you posted? Thought of a better title for it? No worries. You can always go back and edit threads even after you’ve posted them.

Change the subject of a thread

Only admins and the creator of the thread can edit the subject.
  1. Open the thread.
  2. Click the three dots icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Edit Thread Subject.
  4. Edit the subject and click Save Changes.

Change the content of a thread

Only the creator of a post can edit their message.
  1. Open the thread.
  2. Go to the first post in the thread and click the three dots icon to its right.
  3. Select Edit thread.
  4. Edit the text as you see fit and click Save.

Change the subject of a thread

  2. Tap the three dots icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Edit thread subject.
  4. Edit the subject and tap Save.

Change the content of a thread

Only the creator of a post can edit their message.
  1. Open the thread.
  2. Go to the first post in the thread and long press on it.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Edit the text as you see fit and tap Save.

    2. Go to the first post in the thread and tap the three dots icon to its right.
    3. Select Edit.
    4. Edit the text as you see fit and tap Save.
If your iOS device is using version iOS 13 or above, you can also use the thread's context menu to edit it.

When you edit the subject of a thread, a message will be posted in the thread letting people know you’ve made the change.
