Channels make it easy for your team’s discussions to stay organized and on topic. Here’s how you can invite your team members to join your channel.
- Open a channel.
- Click on the three dots icon to the right of the channel name to open the channel options menu.
- Click Edit Channel.
- Enter a team member’s name into the Search by name field, and it will show you a list of autocomplete matches.
- Click their name to add them to the channel.
- Open a channel.
- Tap the three dots icon in the top right to open the channel options menu.
- Tap Members.
- You will see a list of members. Tap the profile with a plus icon in the top right.
- Enter a team member’s name or email address into the Name or email field, and it will show you a list of autocomplete matches.
- You can also select users manually using the Add Users option, or import members using the Import from channel or Import from group options at the bottom.
- Tap their name to add them to the channel.
- Open a channel.
- Tap the channel title at the top.
- Tap Add Members.
- Select which people you would like to add by tapping their name.
- When you have selected all the users or groups you’d like to invite, tap Save in the top right.
