Sometimes you'll need to change your primary email address or change the email address that’s associated with one of the Twist teams you’re a part of.
Change your primary email address
- Click your team icon in the top-left corner of Twist.
- Click Settings & members.
- Click Account.
- If you've already added your new email address, you can now select it by clicking the field under Primary email. A dropdown menu of all your registered email addresses will appear.
- If you haven't already added your new email address, click Manage email.
- Type in the new email address and click Add email.
- Click the < back arrow icon.
- Select your new email address in the Primary Email Address dropdown menu.
- Tap your team icon in the bottom-right corner of Twist.
- Tap Account.
- If you've already added your new email address, you can now select it by tapping the field under Primary email. Choose your new email address from your list of registered emails.
- If you haven't already added your new email address, tap + Add Email Address.
- Type out your new email address and tap Add.
- Below Primary Email, tap the email address that’s currently selected to change it to the new email address.
Change your email address for a new team
- Click your team icon in the top-left corner.
- Select the team you would like to change your email address for.
- Click Settings & members.
- If you haven't already added your new email address, follow the steps below:
- Click Account.
- Click Add Email Address at the bottom of the screen.
- Type in the new email address and click Add.
- Click Profile.
- Click the field under Display email and pick your new email address from the dropdown menu.
- Tap your team icon in the bottom-right corner of Twist.
- Select the team you would like to change your email address for.
- If you haven't already added your new email address, follow the steps below:
- Tap Account.
- Tap + Add email address.
- Enter your new email address and tap Add.
- Tap the < back arrow icon in the top-left corner.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap the field under Display email and select your new email address.
- Tap Save.
- Tap your team icon in the bottom-right corner of Twist.
- Select the team you would like to change your email address for.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap the field under Display email and select your new email address. If you haven't already added your new email address, you can do so now by tapping + Add Email.
FAQ
Why can’t I delete my primary email address?
The primary email address can’t be deleted because it’s required to log into your Twist account. Please select a different primary email address first, in order to be able to delete the previously selected primary address.
Can I set a different email address to receive billing notifications?
Sure thing! All you have to do is change the email address associated with the team for which you’re receiving billing notifications.
Only team admins can receive billing notifications.
