Congrats on taking the first step toward asynchronous work collaboration! Twist gives your team the tools to work together effectively, so you all have more time to focus, create, and (ultimately) disconnect.
Here's how to get started.
Create and board your team
Begin by inviting and onboarding your team:
- Invite team members to Twist using email or by sharing your team link.
- Recommend your team downloads Twist for iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS to stay connected from any device.
- Make sure to share the link to our help center in order to ease your team's learning curve.
Learn the lingo
Once you've onboarded your team, it's a good idea to introduce them to the core features of Twist!
Twist is filled with features designed to create a focused and organized workflow for you and your teammates. It may take a while to get to know them all, but here are a few of the big ones to get you started:
Channels organize your threads into common themes.
For example, you may want to create a Marketing channel that contains all threads about your company's marketing activities, or a Health channel filled with workouts.
Threads are conversations about a single topic. Need to get an overview of all projects for the coming month, or maybe you simply want to discuss book recommendations with your teammates? In both cases, you can start a thread.
Your Inbox is the place where you can keep track of all threads that relate to you and your work.
Create channels and start threads
Once you've onboarded your team and learned about some of the core Twist features, start creating channels based on current projects your team is working on and start a few threads your team can use to present ideas, collaborate on plans, collect feedback, and share big moments!
We hope this helps get your team off on the right foot with Twist! 🚀
