Use OneDrive with Twist

Share any file from your OneDrive with your team on Twist.

  1. Click the paperclip icon in the bottom left of your comment or to the right of your message.
  2. Select OneDrive.
  3. If this is the first time you access OneDrive, sign in to your account.
  4. Choose which file you want to share and click Open.
  5. The selected file will be uploaded, turned into a Markdown link, and added to your comment or message.
This feature is not yet available for the iOS app.
In order to attach files from OneDrive, make sure the app is installed on your Android device.
  1. Tap the paperclip icon in the bottom left of your comment or message.
  2. Tap OneDrive.
  3. If this is the first time you access OneDrive, sign in to your account.
  4. Tap on the file you want to add.
  5. A link to the OneDrive file will be added to your comment or message.
This feature is not yet available for the Windows 10 app.

FAQ

Q: How can I remove a file?

A: Simply remove the link from your message or comment and delete the file preview:

  1. Click the three dot icon to the left of your message or to the right of your comment.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Remove the URL and click Save.
  4. Next, click on the x to the right of the attachment, and click Delete.

  2. Select Edit.

  4. Next, Long press on the attachment.
  5. Select Remove attachment.
  6. Tap Delete.
A: For now, an attachment can only be deleted by deleting the message or comment. We’re currently working on improving this.
