Use Dropbox with Twist

Share any file from your Dropbox with your team on Twist.

  1. Click the paperclip icon in the bottom left of your comment or to the right of your message.
  2. Select Dropbox.
  3. If this is the first time you access Dropbox, sign in to your account.
  4. Select the files you want to add and click Choose.
  5. All selected files will be uploaded, turned into Markdown links, and added to your comment or message.
In order to attach files from Dropbox, make sure the app is installed on your iOS device.

  3. Tap Select files from Dropbox.

  5. Tap on the file you want to add.
  6. A link to the Dropbox file will be added to your comment or message.

This feature is not yet available for the Windows 10 app.

FAQ

Q: Can I attach files from a shared Dropbox folder?

A: Yes, as long as you have access to the file, you’ll be able to share it.

Q: How can I remove a file?

A: Simply remove the link from your message or comment and delete the file preview:

  1. Click the three dot icon to the left of your message or to the right of your comment.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Remove the URL and click Save.
  4. Next, click on the x to the left of the attachment, and click Delete.

  5. Select Remove attachment.

A: For now, an attachment can only be deleted by deleting the message or comment. We’re currently working on improving this.
