Use Templates with Twist

Do you find yourself sending the same message or posting the same comment on a regular basis? Perhaps there's a weekly reminder you share with your team, or maybe there's a monthly schedule you need to post?

If so, you'll be able to save a lot of time by using the Templates extension for Twist! This extension enables you to create, share and edit templates directly within Twist.

Here’s how:

Setting up the integration

1. While using the Twist composer, click the Quick Actions icon.
2. Click Find more integrations. A new window will open.
3. Search for Templates.
4. (Optional) By default, your integration will only be installed for you. If you are an admin, you have the option to install the integration for your whole team. You can do this by clicking Change and then selecting your team.
5. Click Add to Twist.

Using the integration

1. Open the thread or message you want to use a template in.
2. Open the Twist composer and click the Quick actions icon.
3. Select Templates.
4. Select one of your existing templates by clicking Use (you can also Preview or Edit the template before using it), or create a new template by clicking New template.
5. Once you've selected a template, it'll get added to your Twist composer. You can now edit the template before you send it.
6. Once you're done editing your template, click the send icon to share it in the message or thread.
