Team Check-in is a great tool for team members who want to share regular updates!
As your team grows, it is important to have transparent workflows, and this integration can help you achieve this. Once installed, a new check-in thread (such as a Weekly Snippet or Daily Stand-up thread) will be posted every week or month (or any time interval you prefer) with an introductory text that explains the purpose of the thread.
Setting up the integration
- While using the Twist composer, click the Quick Actions icon.
- Select Find more integrations. A new window will open.
- Search for Team Check-in.
- Select Add.
- (Optional) By default, your integration will only be installed for you. If you are an admin, you have the option to install the integration for your whole team. You can do this by clicking Change and then selecting your team.
- Select the channel you would like to post the check-in in.
- Select who you would like to notify.
- Add a subject for the thread.
- Add a short message to let your team know the purpose of the thread.
- (Optional) Add a button to open a document or prefill a template.
- Select how often you would like the thread to be posted.
- Select the time you would like the thread to be posted.
- Select Install Integration.
Using the integration
You can use this integration to set up a variety of different check-ins, including:
- Replace meetings with asynchronous stand-ups so you won't have to interrupt your team’s focus.
- Ask for a quick overview of what your team members are working on.
- Connect with your team by asking what they have done over the weekend.
- Remind and encourage your team to take a moment to evaluate their stress level.
